Ashley Halliwell<p><strong>My last three (3) braincells attempting to decide what I’m doing today.</strong></p><p>One of them is autism, one of them is ADHD, and the other is the desire to not do anything productive at all. I think the dogs that are fighting are autism and ADHD, and the woman screaming is my desire to not do anything productive at all. The woman just wants to sit and watch more trash TV until some form of inspiration hits, and <em>then </em>she’ll do something. Except there are two huge dogs going goblin mode in front of her 😭</p><p>This is my current mood. I’ve been resting a lot because my guts still hurt off and on, and honestly watching TV that I like is helping my brain rest and get more inspiration for my writing in the long term. Plus, as Laz has said before, it’s nice to be able to be a fan of things again. It’s been years since we’ve been able to do that.</p><p>Aside from this post and talking to people, will I get anything else productive done? I’m not sure. But I’ll do my best if I’m so inspired.</p><p>-Allēna </p><p><a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/actuallyadhd/" target="_blank">#ActuallyADHD</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/actuallyaudhd/" target="_blank">#actuallyAuDHD</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/actuallyautistic/" target="_blank">#ActuallyAutistic</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/healing/" target="_blank">#healing</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/humor/" target="_blank">#Humor</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/meme/" target="_blank">#meme</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/neisvoid/" target="_blank">#NEISvoid</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/rest/" target="_blank">#rest</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/spoonie/" target="_blank">#Spoonie</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://opensorceryy.co/tag/strokesurvivor/" target="_blank">#strokesurvivor</a></p>
Quinze Plush<p>PSA for <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/neurodivergent" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>neurodivergent</span></a> folks: next time you have blood work done, get your B2, B6 and B9 vitamin levels checked. Although the cause is not clear yet, ND folks have been found to have a <a href="https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5153567/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">higher rate of B vitamin deficiency</a> than NT people.</p><p>These vitamins have a significant impact on tissue healing, energy level and mood, so it's worth confirming you are not deficient. But <strong>please don't take vitamin supplements without blood work</strong>, <a href="https://youtu.be/7W4E43MXPto?t=394" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">B6 excess can be toxic</a>.</p><p><a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/ActuallyAutistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyAutistic</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/ActuallyADHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyADHD</span></a></p>
Murdoc Addams 🧛🏻:ri: 🇨🇦<p>Trying out this <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>introduction</span></a> thing (finally).</p><p>Unemployed computer tech and aspiring novelist. Came to Mastodon because of the <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/foss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>foss</span></a> and <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/fediverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fediverse</span></a> thing, as I'm quite fond of open standards and non-corporate media (and well, anything really). I wasn't quite sure how to use it since I had never touched xitter, and didn't get the whole micro-blogging thing. I was always more of a forums/Reddit kind of person (I'm on Lemmy now instead BTW). But I found this place to be a great source of information, support, and community regarding autism and <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/NeuroDiversity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NeuroDiversity</span></a> since I am a late-self-realized <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/actuallyautistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>actuallyautistic</span></a> and <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/ActuallyADHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyADHD</span></a> (a.k.a. <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/AuDHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AuDHD</span></a> ) Turns out that "neurodiversity" has been a "special interest" of mine for a long time, before I even knew the word for it. So I spend a lot of time here, probably more than I should. 😛 </p><p>I'm also working on several projects that I guess can only be collectively referred to as "social benefit" projects. I'll talk about those occasionally and even asking for help, because they are big projects that will need many people and I don't work so well by myself.</p><p>And I'm also one of those progressive, lefty, pinko, equal rights, social justice, digital freedom, privacy advocating, LGBT+ ally type people. I grew up on Star Trek ok? They debated whether a cloud of gas or a big rock was actually a person or not. Makes the crap we have to deal with right now IRL seem pretty stupid.</p><p>So if you like talking about that kind of stuff, or any of my copious other SpIns (many of which are in my profile), I'm game.</p>
