Mo's photos<p>Bass</p><p>The Bass Rock is an island in the outer part of the Firth of Forth in the east of <a href="https://photog.social/tags/Scotland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Scotland</span></a>. Approximately 2 km (1 mi) offshore, and 5 km (3 mi) north-east of North Berwick, it is a steep-sided volcanic plug, 107 m (351 ft) at its highest point, and is home to a huge colony of gannets.</p><p>At high zoom, the true density of the bird colony is obvious.</p><p>Text derived from Wikipedia: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_Rock" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_Roc</span><span class="invisible">k</span></a></p><p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://a.gup.pe/u/photography" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>photography</span></a></span></p><p><a href="https://photog.social/tags/SaturdayScenery" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SaturdayScenery</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/LandscapePhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LandscapePhotography</span></a></p>
Mo's Iceland photos<p>Snow Eggs</p><p>A beautiful day in Höfn, and the sunlight casts shadows across the mountain faces.</p><p>And the title? Our little joke. The first time we saw the white plastic-wrapped bales of winter fodder, we decided that they must be snow waiting to hatch!</p><p>Háitindur¹ (892 m/2926 ft) and Skálatindur (532 m/1745 ft) in Hornafjörður, south-eastern <a href="https://icelandphotos.co.uk/tags/Iceland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Iceland</span></a>.
