Jonathan Emmesedi<p>The Trump goon squad kidnap of Tufts University PhD student Rumeysa Ozturk has rightly been seen as an attack on civil liberties and the rule of law in general.</p><p>In addition, the damage that this and similar abductions and harassment are doing to US higher education should be noted. Students and faculty alike benefit from hearing the views of international students, both inside and outside the classroom. Now many of those students will be afraid to speak their minds.
