In a break from Robin photos, I did see a Wood Pigeon or two. This one was standing on the bank of enjoying what little sunshine was on offer this afternoon

On this afternoons walk, we mainly encountered Robins, so Robins it will have to be. But when they pose so well for you, how can you not oblige with a photo....

Silence speaks volumes in nature. The rustle of leaves, the distant call of an owl, the quiet gaze of a bird watching the world go by.
