Les trains étaient encadrés par deux machines pour éviter les manoeuvres aux gares terminus et pour palier l'absence de voitures pilotes. La 2752 en tête de l'IC 2031 Antwerpen-C. - Charleroi-Sud dévié par la ligne 27. La 15007 de la SNCF qui a amené un train venant de Bâle devant la 3011 des CFL avec une rame de voitures SNCB arrivée de Liège et sur la voie 4, la locomotive SNCB 2012 qui va reprendre le train arrivé sur la voie d'à côté pour l'amener en Belgique. A Luxembourg, il n'était pas rare en 2005 que deux trains soient reçus sur la même voie.🇬🇧 Three locomotives, three networks! SNCF class 15007 arrived from Basel with an train and behind CFL Class 3011 with a rake of Belgian carriages arrived from Liège and on track 4, SNCB/NMBS Class 2012 which will take over the train arrived on the next track. A cette époque, ce sont de petits autorails légers RS1 de TransRegio qui desservent l'Eifelquerbahn (transversale de l'Eifel) entre Anernach et Kaisersesch.
