Ami<p>I am setting up an <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/aquarium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>aquarium</span></a> and choosing what life I want in my tank.</p><p>It's a really sobering moment to look at <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/fish" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fish</span></a> at my local aquarium and see that some are <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/extinct" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>extinct</span></a> in the wild.</p><p>The same goes with the <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/coral" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>coral</span></a> reefs in <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Australia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Australia</span></a> </p><p>I am considering setting up a separate tank just for coral to preserve a little bit of what is being lost... or perhaps I should say sacrificed. </p><p>We're not losing the species, we're killing them.</p>
