fanf42<p>For information, Lenovo seems to be rolling out a firmware update for "embedded controller" for Lenovo T14 AMD Gen5. This firmware is managed by fwupdmgr, and is seen as version <code>0.1.8</code>. It leads to the Qualcomm Technologies, Inc QCNFA765 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01) beeing not seen anymore at all even with recent kernels. <br>Reverting to <code>0.1.6</code> with the bootable image from <a href="https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-t-series-laptops/thinkpad-t14-gen-5-type-21mc-21md/21mc/21mccto1ww/pf556999/downloads/driver-list/component?name=BIOS%2FUEFI&amp;id=5AC6A815-321D-440E-8833-B07A93E0428C" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/pro</span><span class="invisible">ducts/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-t-series-laptops/thinkpad-t14-gen-5-type-21mc-21md/21mc/21mccto1ww/pf556999/downloads/driver-list/component?name=BIOS%2FUEFI&amp;id=5AC6A815-321D-440E-8833-B07A93E0428C</span></a> (which doesn't tell you, because it would be too simple) solves the problem. </p><p>If it can help people</p><p><a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/lenovo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>lenovo</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/t14" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>t14</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/qualcomm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>qualcomm</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/firmware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>firmware</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/fail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fail</span></a></p>
