The hard maple neck is reinforced with 2 (probably overkill) carbon fiber rods and a truss rod. Inlays and side markers are Total Boat <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/epoxy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#epoxy</a> with Black Diamond Pigments for the blue/green color. Karen Strickholm🧶🧶🧶 Yay! The Mom Crème Anglaise sweater is at last done, delivered and mom-approved!I learned so much making this. Lots of frogging back, switching yarns, switching patterns also. Settled on Valley Yarns Charlemont fingering and Cascade Baby Alpaca lace held together - dream combo. I love how the silk helps give the other fibers and the garment structure. Made from a piece of Bubinga I’ve had for many years with Total Boat epoxy inlays, I’m installing the frets here using my drill press and an eBay fret press caul.
