Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Solitaire</p><p>This was captured in February during the middle of winter.<br>Camped in Yosemite Valley a snow storm moved through the valley dumping about 8 inches of snow.<br>As I made my way through the village in the morning I saw this fabulous snow covered oak tree and decided it would make a good subject for a photo. salix sericea (@Ripple13216)<p>Three years ago, we found a tiny apricot tree sprouted from a kernel in the compost heap.<br>Planted it and cared for it. it now has its first fruit, about five little apricots!</p><p>This year's count of new oak trees from acorns hidden by squirrels is 12. Will be potted and given away next year when they can survive on their own.</p><p>Grape vine cutting has roots &amp; leaves. By one, get many free, 😃. </p><p>First lavender is in full bloom. Lots of bees enjoying it.
