More measles exposures... Mississauga, Canada.
"Peel Public Health (PPH) is investigating another confirmed case of measles in Mississauga, and warning about potential exposure at a hospital, the central library and two medical clinics.
In a March 18 news release, PPH said the case was confirmed on March 14 and that the public may have been exposed at the following locations:
Hazel McCallion Central Library on March 7 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Multi-Specialty Med Clinic (21 Queensway W, Mississauga) between March 8 from 7:03 p.m. and March 9 at 1 a.m.
Aboud Health Group (422 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W, Mississauga) on March 10 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Credit Valley Hospital Emergency Room on March 11 between 10:30 a.m. and 7:55 p.m.
PPH advised anyone who was at these sites or thinks they have been exposed to the measles virus “to contact their health care provider, or if not available, Peel Public Health as soon as possible to get advice.”"
