Recent research suggests that if food is scarce hungry #bumblebees will chew on plant leaves - not to eat them - but to stress the plant causing it to #flower thus providing earlier #pollen for the #bees.

Two days ago, the #pollen count in #Atlanta #Georgia reached a record-breaking high level of 14801 (https://www.atlantaallergy.com/pollen_counts) - the highest level the area has ever seen
Record-high CO2 levels amplify pollen production in trees - another clearly visible impact of #ClimateChange 
The city has been coated in pollen for the past few weeks now it seems.
As far as I can tell, most of the visible part seems to come from pines, but there's a lot of different kinds.
Atlanta's #pollen count today is 14801.
This is the highest on record.
( Atlanta's old pollen count was 9,369 on March 20, 2012. )
Literally, the air is yellow along with our cars.
