That’s it. I simply cannot use @zenbrowser for work.

My battery drains faster than a truck burning fuel. My CPU goes crazy. Bugs break the little concentration I have.

This is mainly a lesson to myself: do not use beta software unless you are truly and fully committed to address the potential consequences.

Going back to vanilla #Firefox, hopefully switching to @librewolf as soon as I have some time to get it up and running.

There are 2 features that prevent me to switch from Firefox to Brave browser. Firefox's fantastic PiP mode and containers.
On Firefox, PiP has 2 advantages over Brave. One is that beside Play/Pause button, Firefox video window has forward and backward buttons, as well as volume slider, while Brave only has Play/Pause button.
Another advantage of Firefox is that the video window, has a specific window class name. Which means I can set a window rule in Kwin settings to always place the window at the top right corner of my 2nd monitor, with a specific size. But this can’t be done with Brave either.
Also the fact that Firefox automatically displays PiP when I switch to a different tab is another feature that I’ve got very used to.

That’s why I can’t stop Firefox.

I don't think #waterfox #browser is going to make the cut. I am noticing that it will use, at times, an unreasonable amount of memory.

Currently, fresh start, two tabs takes 800Mb en it's plugin container is using around the same amount. This is not good.

Outlook Default Browser.
By default, any links you open from an Outlook email will be opened in Microsoft Edge, even if you have a different browser set as your default browser in Windows.
Here is how you can change the default browser for any links you open in Outlook.
And this is using the most recent version of Outlook.
1. After opening Outlook, Hit Alt F to open the file menu.
2. Arrow up and press enter on Options.
3. Press the letter A until you hear Advanced.
4. Tab about 7 times until you hear, Open hyperlinks from Outlook in combo box.
5. Microsoft Edge should be the one listed. Arrow down until you hear default browser and press enter.
6. Now whatever browser you have listed as your default browser in Windows will be used to open hyperlinks from Outlook emails.
7. It is quicker to shift tab until you get to the OK button, then press it to close the window.
