#Netflix is working on a remake I can get behind. 'CUJO' is a classic, but there's room to update the story and make it something truly terrifying.

Why is this a bomb? Well, if you spend a reported $250 million on shoots and reshoots, about $100 million on ads (industry standard), then have to share 50% of the profit with the theaters...

The math isn't mathing. Not to say it's a bad movie, but it was definitely a failure at the box office.

Entertaining and visually appealing, with good acting and heavy-handed but enjoyable satire, but too many themes.

I realized recently that the reason I get so into horror movies is because it's soooooo much better than real life right now. I honestly think watching someone get brutally murdered in a film is better than watching the news.

Anyway, I watched 'THE HERETIC' on #max tonight and it was really good. Hugh Grant was fantastic. Warning, his character drops a LOT of truth about how organized religion is just capitalistic horse shit.
