It's an absolutely gorgeous autumn day in #Naarm #Melbourne, and here is an absolutely gorgeous chunk of acacia gum from my travels.

Acacia gum is water soluble, edible¹, and is my go-to adhesive for a lot of projects. It's been used throughout Australia for thousands of years.

¹ Be careful chewing acacia gum. The adhesive properties can be *very* strong, resulting in your family laughing at you for minutes because your jaw is glued shut again. Don't panic, it dissolves eventually.
