Cradle Mountain is just a magical spot, place of power. So much beauty all around. The fog, the trees, the light. I guess alpenglow too! In other words, brace yourselves. I've got a bit of photos from this morning.
hello again! I had a disconnect from everything online while travelling around #Tasmania. It was a family trip but I managed to steal a few shots. So, let me start with this gloomy rainy autumn scenery somewhere not far from Cradle Mountain. I considered black and white for this one but, in the end, I seemed to like muted colours a bit more.

The public meeting demanded by the anti-bike-lane Confederation of Greater Hobart Businesses just voted overwhelmingly to support the council's proposed Collins Street tactical trial (which includes safe, separated bike lanes). The confederation will no doubt find some way to spin this, but there's no hiding from the fact that they couldn't even muster a majority for the very meeting they demanded.
If they continue with their demand for an elector poll, it will be another humiliating defeat for them and a waste of Hobart rate payer money.
