Liberal regimes have standards for the treatment of prisoners. These standards are codified under the #GenevaConventions, which the #UnitedStates has signed & ratified.

Among the standards dictated by the Geneva Conventions is this: Prisoners may not be publicly exploited for purposes of #propaganda.
