So much happening here! Where to begin?

Shaxs is flexing, shirtless, scars all over.

T’Ana is eyeing Shaxs with lust in her yellow, feline eyes.

Rutherford is leaping off a diving board, attempting to restrain a homicidal, knife-wielding Badgey. The former is wearing orange swim shorts. The latter is wearing a blue Speedo.

One of those majestic bird aliens is flying majestically over the scene, with only a black pair of briefs covering their naughty bits.

Ransom, in red swim shorts, is trying to get close to a couple of ladies. One, in a gold bikini, is clearly disgusted. The other, in a rather complicated one-piece swimsuit with a transparent panel (something very William Ware Theiss-inspired) gives him a literal shock. There’s a horga’hn nearby, suggesting this was a failed attempt at seeking jamaharon. (If you know, you know.)

Billups is posing like the pin-up hottie he is, in a pair of regal gold and black swim shorts.

Mariner is standing, smirking, holding a glass of unspecified clear liquid, wearing what appears to be a black sports bra and denim cut-offs.

Freeman is standing next to Mariner, in a purple one-piece swimsuit and blue sarong, holding a much bigger drink with a pink straw poking out of it.

Boimler wears a pair of red-orange sunglasses perched on his nose like he’s Tom Cruise in Risky Business, a giant green book tucked under his arm.

Tendi is in a blue and black bikini, relaxing, eyes closed, unbothered by the chaos. What a queen!

FosstodonRodrigo Pio (@rrapio@fosstodon.org)@thezenlady@toot.community looking at a bigger picture, isn't it dangerous - I mean apocalyptically dangerous - that a country with so much military and technological capabilities goes dark regarding science and, well, common sense? Isn't that maybe a threat to our existence as a species? Shouldn't we all, everywhere in the world, give some sort of support to those there that still stand for a reasonable America?

Look, I know #LowerDecks is just emotional masturbation for hardcore trekkies, but it's too just what the doctor ordered for when I'm feeling down: light comedy, adventure, pop psychology, politics, and everything smothered in geek sauce, with zingers like "Hysperians renamed everything to sound like magic." (S2E7, "Where Pleasant Fountains Lie").
