The thing you should know about Sen. Cory #Booker is that he's probably the NICEST guy in the Senate. Just a really great dude. (Sen. Sherrod Brown and Sen. Bob Casey were also super nice, but sadly both gone.)

Watched the last hour of Cory Booker’s marathon speech on TV in my living room, texting about it with my daughter, who was commuting to her teaching job in Japan, and watching the live stream on her phone on the train. Gen Z Americans especially needed to see someone do something, and #booker did that. What an impressive and passionate human being. Onward.

Been watching Cory Booker all morning. As I told my family, you could pull any random three minutes of him speaking, from anywhere in the 20+ hours so far, and say it was the key moment. He is not only remaining upright, he’s remaining eloquent. And he did challenge his colleagues to quit behaving like this is business as usual.
I hope this gets tons of visibility and spurs people (both constituents and Congresspeople) to action.

In 2019, a life dream of moving to Spain fell thru after a long job search led to CMO role but my visa was denied. I pivoted & tried to join a presidential campaign. I was interested in Cory Booker’s campaign (among several others), and my dad met him & told him. He recorded this, & I saved it for Booker’s uplifting energy & passion.
It was an encouraging message that helped me at a time I was really, really bummed that something I’d put soooooo much work & effort into hadn’t worked out.
