Elon Musk calls for 'arrests' after woman points her finger at a #Cybertruck, to prevent additional "attacks."
Awwww. Elmo triggered.
Chill, Elmo. You're the champion of #FreeSpeech, remember?
Also: complainers=fraudsters, right?

@georgetakei One way you can tell Canada is still as friendly as everyone remembers: there are Teslas, including CyberTrucks in Toronto, and none of them seem to be vandalized.
I bet their sales went down mighty fast, though.
We know Musk is full of it. This entire article proves it.
“On a 2023 earnings call, #Musk boasted that #Tesla had bagged “over 1 million” #Cybertruck reservations and that “demand is off the charts.”
So why has the company still sold less than 50,000 trucks since customer deliveries began 14 months ago?” 1/… https://www.wired.com/story/where-did-the-one-million-people-who-wanted-a-cybertruck-go/
The capitalist mindset.
#Amazon is just another store.
#Turkey is just another holiday destination.
A #Cybertruck is just another mode of transport.
#Nestle is just another coffee brand.
Factory farmed #chicken is just another source of protein.
#LLMs (#AI) are just another tool.
#Capitalism needs you to ignore the social and environmental costs, and think only of personal benefits.
Yet:
"One of the staggering things the latest Cybertruck recall has revealed—other than Tesla’s use of the wrong glue—is that Elon Musk’s company appears to have sold 46,096 of these 7,000-pound electric pickups since customer deliveries began a little over 14 months ago."
As Carlton Reid reports,
"On an earnings call a month before the November 2023 launch of the production vehicle, Musk boasted that Tesla had bagged 'over 1 million' Cybertruck reservations and that 'demand is off the charts.'"

Just me, here, thinking of the #cybertruck as a paper shear blade falls off after the glue failed...
held together with #GlueAndPromises.
it's all just glue and promises ...
#CyberTruck Disaster! After expressions of interest from more than a million people, #ElmoMusk's Cybertruck has sold less units in its first year than the Ford Edsel - Less than 40,000 units!

Queen @AmandaMarcotte: "Looking like a normal human being is boring, but being a grotesque version of yourself is a guaranteed way to get people looking. Call it the "car crash" principle of aesthetics."
Or this gem: "He [#Musk] is a #Cybertruck in human form, and that is almost certainly the point."
@arrrg Tesla stock was used to collateralize loans he took to purchase Twitter. So collapsing Tesla could potentially unsecure those loans. He has over played his hand.
