Help. I am searching for a library allowing to draw chords graphs like those. I'd like it to work similarly to Mermaid or PlantUML, a tool that creates beautiful diagrams from text files. Preferably something that works through command line, accept a text file as input and deliver a PDF or image file.

Boost creates random chords progressions.

After a couple weeks of evenings down in the basement, finally got my new tune finished. Messed around with the mastering presets tonight and got a decent one which I tweaked a bit. Glad it’s done. Every friggin track has manually set volume automation, and lots of it on the main vocal track. And the comping looks like a freaky jigsaw puzzle. Basement is a mess. Cables and stuff everywhere. #music #guitar #recording #songwriting #gearsquad #mentalhealth #chill youtu.be/boT7Ow2gyrA?si=u2rRja

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. This is my 2024 G&L Legacy, a build to order model brokered by Upfront Guitars in Bellingham, MA. I ordered in July and it arrived in December. During an intense period of grief after my father died in June, and working through a changed relationship with my mom and sister, I found escape by dreaming of a new #guitar. I spent hours looking over the specs and options, emailing Gordon at UpFront to ask questions. 1/

Frotz!

I just got out the neck and was intimidated by how nice it is.

I think I"ll start with the neck from my plywood Dean Z. And some howto videos.

Do I need CA glue for the frets? Is normal okay, or do I need special thin stuff?

Where is the #1 place re-frets go wrong? (Guessing pulling the old frets.)

Can I get by with a plastic-faced mallet, or do I need a fancy tool that goes in my drill press?

Some people are skeptical about things like magic, so let's talk about it.

Like that time in 1974 when Mike Campbell bought a guitar for $175.

An iconic guitar that was one serial number away from another iconic guitar.

If that wasn't enough frosting, Tom Petty and George Harrison both played in a band together.

You don't have to believe in magic, but it never hurts to notice it.

Making music - trying to cover a song with some stretched-out fretting (3-7th fret)... and it's hard keeping the G string ringing.
I blew off recording last week, and it feels like I may blow it off again.
I don't know whether I should just find something easy to play.
I often try stuff that's hard for me, and do a version with many mistakes, rather than play something easier, with fewer mistakes.
