Their jobs include greeting boats when tieing up, checking out the catch, bear alarm, jumping in the water for no reason, going cabin to cabin to look in the windows to see if anyone is there, begging for something to eat if someone is inside, and pushing in the door and sleeping in the cabin if they feel like it.

As of March 12, 2025, Ontario has reported a total of 372 measles cases (277 confirmed, 95
probable) associated with this outbreak occurring in 11 public health units (Table 1).

Measles in Ontario 2 Multi-Jurisdictional Measles Outbreak • On October 18, 2024, exposure to a travel-related case in New Brunswick led to outbreaks of measles in New Brunswick and Ontario. While New Brunswick declared their outbreak over on January 7, 2025 1 , Ontario continues to experience measles transmission, which has also led to cases of measles in Manitoba 2 . • As of March 12, 2025, Ontario has reported a total of 372 measles cases (277 confirmed, 95 probable) associated with this outbreak occurring in 11 public health units (Table 1). • This represents an increase of 195 cases (150 confirmed, 45 probable) and 7 new public health units reporting cases of measles since the previous epidemiological summary on February 27 (Figure 1). • The sharp increase in the number of outbreak cases and the geographic spread in recent weeks is attributable to ongoing exposures and transmission among individuals who are unimmunized. Further information on measles exposure settings in Ontario may be found on Public Health Ontario’s website here. • Individuals born in or after 1970 made up 99.2% of outbreak cases: • 72.6% (n=270) were in children and adolescents, 26.3% (n=98) in adults (Table 1). • Seven outbreak cases were pregnant; five were unimmunized and two had previously received two doses of measles vaccine. • One outbreak case was in a newborn. • Among children and adolescents, 90.7% were unimmunized, while among adults, 54.1% were unimmunized (Figure 2).

Okay, in 1851 the opera Rigoletto was first performed in Venice. BUT 155 years later, a Canadian film adaptation, ''Rigoletto ...in bluegrass" won Best Originality at the Bluegrass Independent Film Festival in Kentucky.

While most of the music is deliberately corny bluegrass, the Prelude and the Introduction from the original opera are performed by the Mandolin Society of Peterborough.
