Summer and I stayed home today.
My husband finally started antibiotics this morning but is not able to move around much without feeling sick.
Before dinner I though we'd better get some exercise.
The stick got dragged home from one of our walks and is her current favorite thing to fetch.

I always stuff a leash in one of my jacket pockets, but unless there are other people around I let Summer run, and keep her under voice control.
Today, I decided to bring a walking stick so that meant that my hand wasn't in my pocket to keep the leash there.
I didn't notice, it was gone, until I saw some people heading our way.
The leash must have worked it's way out of my pocket.
We were going to need it so I sent Summer back to find where it fell.
I followed along but she found it before I did.
She always comes through, and is such a good girl.

I'm looking for a small table #grill mainly for vegetables for this summer season. I have a small kamado, but due to it's small size it won't reach the best temperature, and it just takes too long.

I was looking at a Cobb Pro Compact, that's a great one, but it's a bit too expensive. Then there are these ceramic japanese/korean ones nowadays, but I'm afraid because of their cheap prices that it's cheap ceramics? Any suggestions? #askfedi #food #spring #summer #help

We have tons of beautiful sunshine on our hill this morning, but when I looked around us I realized we were just above the fog that was everywhere else.
Summer was hopping and spinning around because she remembered my promise of an early morning walk.
Should we let pea soup fog keep us off the trail?
Summer's pal says it will burn off and that we should head on down the road. Maybe he wants a few minutes of solitude.
Away we went. We even had the whole trail to ourselves. Summer had a blast.

I decided to take a few minutes for myself. I curled up in a comfy chair to read my book. After cooking and cooking and washing mountains of dishes I was ready for a break.
Summer had other ideas I guess.
I thought she had gone in the other room to hang with her pal.
It was too quiet.
All of the sudden something behind my chair was going thunk, thunk, thunk.
When I peeked around the corner the the chair I saw this sweet face and a tail that was going thunk, thunk, thunk.
Summer brightens my day, everyday.
The book can wait.
