Frank continued to stare at her, surprise and admiration on his face, and Luci realized her cheeks were becoming warm. The anxiety she'd felt approaching Frank's house was back.

"But WHY--"

She stopped. As the two Carries linked eyes, the present Carrie incarnation saw pain in the eyes of her future counterpart. And she knew then what was at the heart of this discussion. "Mom...?"

#TimeTravelAuthors 25: Revenge?

Corry did a massive revenge play on Julie for something she did to his sister.

Julie's actions against Carrie could be considered revenge, though Julie sees it as being pragmatic (demonstrating where Carrie's allegiances really lie).

There's a revenge attempt on Megan that Chartreuse refuses to go along with.

And none of that even involves time travel. The cast can be mean sometimes.

#TimeTravelAuthors 23: Introverted character?

Definitely Tim, the linguist of the group. Had a bit of a stutter (earliest drafts gave him a limp instead) and so he tended to avoid public situations. (Also may have led to him being a less developed character, my bad.)

Honestly though, if my characters seem extroverted, I'm achieving something. Being social with people to learn their ways is SUCH a mental drain.
