This is wild: We kindly asked #X to fix their damn #TrustedFlagger online forms and for 4+ weeks nothing happens, they basically ignore our deadline.
Then we spend days preparing and filing a legal complaint under the #DigitalServicesAct for infringing Art 22(1) DSA and, within hours, X makes the changes to comply, the exact changes we asked them for.

**This makes me:**
1. angry b/c we could have done this the easy way.
2. happy b/c it proves the DSA is a sharp sword.

We show how X misleads #TrustedFlaggers to use a wrong, non-functional online form in all EU languages but English.
Reminder: A few weeks ago we asked #X to rectify their faulty online forms, but while they thanked us for the info they didn't actually do anything about it

Cóż, rzeczywistość wygląda zgoła inaczej i, nie czarujmy się, ponuro. Według najnowszego raportu Bloomberga:
Aż 90% notatek społecznościowych nigdy nie zostaje pokazanych użytkownikom w aplikacji. Główny powód? Notatki muszą uzyskać konsensus osób o różnych poglądach politycznych. W praktyce oznacza to, że najbardziej kontrowersyjne (a często najważniejsze!) tematy pozostają bez moderacji. Badanie wykazało, że nawet 74%-85% notatek ocenionych jako prawdziwe przez niezależnych ekspertów nigdy nie dotarło do szerszego grona odbiorców. Dodatkowo, system został częściowo "przejęty" przez zorganizowane grupy, które manipulują głosami, usuwając nawet wcześniej zaakceptowane poprawki (np. dotyczące rosyjskiej propagandy na temat wojny w Ukrainie).
Tymczasem Meta właśnie szykuje się do wdrożenia podobnego systemu na Facebooku, który ma aż 3 miliardy użytkowników. Jeśli model z X okaże się wzorem do naśladowania, szykuje nam się zalew dezinformacji na jeszcze większą skalę
