Phew – despite heavy cloud cover here in Heidelberg, there were a few breaks about 20 minutes after maximum partial eclipse, allowing me to get some pictures
Bonus large sunspot to the top left as well
Taken with my iPhone 15 through the eyepiece of my 15 x 70 binoculars.

A sunny day that ended not so sunnily
Still, like Eponine, a little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now. Plus you can get a rainbow if the sun hasn’t gone away completely
A 51km ride to Heddesheim
It has been pointed out by the management that we haven’t posted for a few #Caturday’s.
To rectify that, here’s an impromptu portrait of His Lordship on a brief break from his endless springtime garden patrols, checking out all of the pheromones left by the neighbours

For anyone who enjoys my photos that I post, or just photos in general, please consider dropping my Vernissage account a follow.
That's where I post daily pictures of various life things, including my cat Kumquat who happens to be very photogenic.
I also post sunrises, sunsets and food stuff. Who knows what else I might post along the way.
You can follow me via this link in your web browser:

A nice thing about living in Germany is that Bärlauch (wild garlic, ramsons) is pretty widespread during the spring
But unlike in NL & the UK, many people here pick it to eat, so there’s strong competition to find good patches before it has all been taken
Still, I managed to find some & have made my first batch of pesto for the year. Always good
