It makes me feel somewhat better when I see all these boycotts, and realize that, with a few notable exceptions (amazon was a hard one) I don't really buy many of the products anyway, so my boycott is meaningless. I recently saw a #nestle #boycott and the wide expanse of brands they control and was happy to note that none of them are in my house or regular consumption routine. =)

To boycott as a means of political voice is powerful.
To be able to work outside the domain of the corporations being boycotted is a privilege I am grateful for and work hard to maintain.

#target is being hit hard by the #boycott and rightfully so. Any company attacking #DEI deserves this fate.

PSA: if you need to replace a broken clothes washer or dryer, the trick is not to buy a new one. I’ve heard this many times and it’s been true in my experience.

Instead find a Maytag or Whirlpool that’s at least 30 years old. They were built to be repaired, still can be, and rarely break down in any case. Anything newer is progressively crappier, even if they look fancy on the outside. Unrepairable, they’re designed to force you to buy new appliances frequently.
