The #capitalist, bristling at the mere mention of #socialism will decry "government overreach," "cronyism," "corruption," "inefficiency" & the tyranny of bureaucrats picking winners & losers.

Step back & what do we see? A mirror reflecting capitalism itself.
Bailouts for the rich, monopolies crushing competition, lobbyists dictating policy & entire industries propped up by taxpayer money.

Indeed, #billionaires are only a tiny fraction, maybe 0.0001%, of the #capitalist class. #Occupy was right, it really is the top 2% (& their supporters) who are the problem.

Pretend opposition to the " #billionaire class" by #liberals like #BernieSanders & #AOC is an intentional diversion of #workingclass energy & #classstruggle away from the real problem, which is #capitalism & the broader #capitalist class as a whole.

…it was a mistake to think that even the #Nazis would entirely dispense w/normal #laws.…They had a complex, broadly #capitalist economy to maintain. “A nation of 80M people,”…needs stable rules. The trick was to find a way to keep the #law going for #Christian Germans who supported or…tolerated the Nazis, while ruthlessly executing the #führer’s directives against the state’s enemies, real & perceived. #Capitalism could jog nicely alongside the brutal suppression of #democracy, & even #genocide.
