Wendy Hiller and Leslie Howard had roughly the same age difference as Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison, but their chemistry is infinitely more genuine.
George Bernard Shaw’s Oscar-winning adaptation of his play feels like a screwball comedy. Delightful.
A very stylish take on spy movies, with fancy houses, brilliant dialogues, a good script, fabulous acting, and luscious cinematography.

Why is this a bomb? Well, if you spend a reported $250 million on shoots and reshoots, about $100 million on ads (industry standard), then have to share 50% of the profit with the theaters...
The math isn't mathing. Not to say it's a bad movie, but it was definitely a failure at the box office.
